Went downtown today with an unusual crew..and went to spots but really didnt skate that much. i did manage to turn on the camera at bridge spot, where the lighting is very low and the ground is hard to film on with no filming board.

My new Raynox MX-3000 arrived today, i ordered the piece to modify it, but it has yet to come. Once i modify it, it will do much more than it does now.

Elementary

Malcolm came home today from Florida,so i skated with him after aimlessly wondering in Griffin's car. we went to Kings Glen elementary to skate an alright handrail. i got my trick for DM, and also a trick for yuhhh.





Oh and my new fisheye is coming, if all goes well, on Monday!

4th of July

Yesterday was the fourth of July, it was the most fun i have ever had at freedom plaza. it was crazy. Mike and I managed to film one friends clip and some throwaway.





oh and i think i will be purchasing a fisheye very soon. and maybe a lighting kit in the near future

Today was a VERY hot day. we went to Mclean High to skate this nifty bank that was set up, but a car was blockin it! so we went downtown using me and griffin's super quick way. we got one or two solid clips but it was to hot to try anything serious.

A Saturday With No D.C.

i didnt go downtown today which is strange for me because i go every saturday. instead i hung out with grant and did nothing all day, mike went down on the other hand and got some legit footage. here is the bad stuff.

Chill DC Day

today wasnt anything super, and it wasnt a total waste. when we first got down there we skated blackledge for a really long time. we got a couple good clips, and then headed to freedom area. we met up with luke and some other homies(jasun,mason, and Bill) we met at the canadian embassy 21, where we witnessed an inliner attempting a bs 180 sometheing er other, it was very intense. we went to wellfare, and skated this gap next to it. and ended our day with a convention center sesh.

I'm sorry about the lack of good new footage, but i haven't been capturing the throwaway I'm totally focused on good DM clips, but ill have some new stuff for yah soon. Anyway, today i went to Vienna, it was a good day for JJ who added to his already super part, while for me it was a good filming/lazy day. here are some more old clips that i edited when i had nothing to do, there are also some throwaway from today.

Not So much

this friday i skated robinson with matt, griffin, jesse, and malcolm. i racked up some solid footage for yuhhh. then on saturday i went downtown with a pretty small group. it was Mike, wayne, sean, grant, and I. after hitting up some pointless spots sean and grant went back to vienna, while the rest of us met up with sidon in Silver Spring. we found a couple good spots that we will definitely be coming back to. we barley got any good footage for the movement, but i found some old clips that werent filmed with our vx. so enjoy.

The Other Side....

today we skated the other side of vienna, that doesnt get skated as much. we got in a pretty fun/stupid sesh. here is everything, because we didnt get anything good haha.

Drizzle

Today started out well with a warm up at freedom. at first it was Grant, Sean, Rj, Sidon, Mike, and myself. we then decided to see what wallie church was all about, it was that great...we headed back to freedom area, and skated archives and met up with homies, who got clips for friends section. we were chasing dry spots, and when we finally ran out of dry ideas, we saw charlie at wellfare and he showed us the way to bridge spot, so that made our day less wet.

Drained

vienna is gettin harder and harder to skate, today we got this lady mad at hollywood video and she went to the cop station or something. so we headed to drainage ditches where a couple tricks went down, also some dork.

grant always steels wayne's hat. yesterday in vienna wayne got mad. luckily the fight wasn't that bad hahah

We got the camera today and got some clips with it, i havn't messed around with any of the manual settings so i just left it on auto everything. i do realize that the fisheye is sorta wierd, so no hate comments on that, we are makin plans to save up for a better one.

A Life Time At Gateway Gap

Today mike and i got a ride down to Rossyln with Jay. we headed to Gateway gap and as we were warming up jj snapped his deck, but luckily his dad was in the area and he had an extra deck. later a bunch of homies showed up and we skated gateway gap for what seemed like a life time! finally we left and we downtown were some tricks went down. all in all it was a really funny day. here are a couple throw away clips of the day..

Refugees

Sorry for the lack of updates, mike and I have been having some difficulties ordering our camera, the site we had found and trusted turned out to be a scam. luckily we found this out before actually placing the order. we will keep trying to find a reliable site and until then we will save our money. This weekend was basically a Refugees Reunion, we racked up a ton of footage in DC Saturday and it will go towards the filming of TFB2, since mike was not able to go downtown, no new footage for DM, hopefully within a couple days.




Also, i finally took my camera downtown and took some photos...

Time For New...

its been a while since i last updated, i was in California over the weekend for reasons that don't include skateboarding, so no footage for me, but mike filmed a little of grant, jj, and john over this past six day holiday.


Mike and Myself have decided its time to start saving, we are bound and determined to buy a canon gl 2 by spring break. we already have made a good start and we hope to keep the money flowing. i still dont understand how to use quicktime so GOOGLE VIDEO it is. this weekend im goin downtown with a "to do list" in hopes of getting some good footage, check for that later.

Well, this weekend was cold...just like everyother one these past couple of weeks.

friday was vienda premiere, it went smashingly. props to Luke, the video is so funny and if you havnt seen it or even if you have, buy a copy from him cuz its goin towards his camera. After the premiere Griffin, Malcolm, and I dipped out to tysons to skate the little slant, a couple tricks went down.
